Cheesy Masala Beans on Sourdough Toast

The perfect recipe to elevate your morning beans on toast

Rise and shine with a classic, but with an elevated twist! Some classics are best kept simple, but when it comes to beans on toast, the flavour opportunities are endless.

Introducing mouthwatering cheesy masala beans, a delightful fusion that’ll spice up your morning routine. Start your day with a burst of flavour with every cheesy, savoury bite.

I’ve added some simple spices that pack in an amazing layer flavour to this dish:

  • Ground cumin
  • Garam Masala
  • Turmeric

When the cheddar cheese is grilled and bubbling. I finish the dish by brushing over some hot sauce for a little extra kick and a sprinkle of fresh coriander ! I personally love this addition but it is optional.

Now lets talk toast! I have used Bertinet Bakery’s Seeded Sourdough.

I love the tangy flavour of Bertinet Bakery bread. I picked up mine from my local Waitrose. The seeds add an extra crunchy texture which I just can’t get enough of! It’s definitely worth going that extra mile to elevate this beans on toast recipe.

What I love about this recipe is it looks impressive and indulgent but only requires few ingredients and is ready in just 20 minutes! Now if that isn’t a reason to give this recipe a try I don’t know what is!

As always, I love hearing if you have tried a recipe. Please leave a comment below or reach out on social media:
