The latest TikTok trend. A base of set Weetabix topped with greek yogurt, protein powder and swirled through Nutella. A deliciously easy recipe for you to try!
Move over overnight oats! Overnight Weetabix is now in the spotlight thanks to TikTok. Overnight Weetabix is the same concept as overnight oats, but the weetabix is soaked in a little milk and set as a base, a bit like cheesecake, then topped with a yogurt and protein powder mix and swirled through Nutella.
The result, is a thick set base with a creamy parfait style topping with swirls of Nutella!
Can I make this Vegan?
Absolutely! Simply use your favourite dairy free yogurt, protein powder and chocolate spread! There are so many great alternatives on the market!
Do I have to use protein powder?
No, of course not! This is added to boost the protein which helps keep you fuller for longer. It also adds the vanilla flavour and sweetness so if you would like to omit it then I would suggest adding 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste and 1 tbsp of sweetener of choice like maple syrup.
How long does it take to set?
I recommend a minimum of 4 hours in the fridge, preferably overnight!
What can I use instead of Nutella?
You’re favourite spread! Biscoff, Peanut butter and jam etc.
