Chocolate mug cake

We all have moments after dinner when we’re wondering what’s in our cupboards to satisfy that sweet tooth. I hold my hands up I’m guilty of this too! Well now I have the answer to your emergency sweet treat needs… this chocolate brownie mug cake!

What’s so great about this recipe is, it serves one, it’s incredible indulgent and only 214 calories! The main ingredient in this recipe is Sweet Freedoms choc shot, it provides all the chocolate flavour and sweetness and it’s made naturally from fruit! If you can’t get your hand on any then I suggest 4 tsp maple syrup and 1-2 tsp cocoa powder and an extra splash of milk.

Ingredients

  • 25g Sweet Freedom choc shot (brownie flavour)

  • 5g coconut oil, melted

  • 25g self raising flour

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 25ml milk of choice

Directions

  • Add all ingredients to a bowl and beat together for 1-2 minutes until glossy and smooth.
  • Add to a small mug, microwave for approx. 1 Minute
  • Serve with extra choc shot.

Notes

  • Cooking times will depend on microwave wattage.
