Easy homemade peanut butter truffles, with a chocolate peanut centre and covered in melted dark chocolate. Dairy and gluten free.
I loved creating these easy homemade truffles, they make a great gift for birthdays, valentines or as an act of kindness.
First the centre, pick your favourite chocolate bar…and I mean your favourite! I chose a Barebells Salty Peanut vegan protein bar, you can purchase yours here:
Barebells Protein Bar 55g (Pick Any 10 Bars)This gets chopped into 16 small pieces to make the centre of the truffle.
The next part is the truffle- a mixture of peanut butter, butter, icing sugar and vanilla extra. Super simple, literally mix it all together to for m a thick dough. This incases the chocolate bar pieces.
Finally a generous coating of melted dark chocolate. I chose dark chocolate but you can use milk or white too!
I love that these truffles look rustic, like their made with love! I also like to add a good pinch of sea salt to the tops, it makes them look pretty and I also love getting a salt flake!
You could buy a cute little gift box to put these in, then add a bow and gift tag and ta dah! The perfect homemade gift. Who will you be making these for?
