The perfect easter breakfast treat, crumpets baked in a protein, egg and milk mixture, topped with chocolate chunks and creme eggs!
I’m making baked crumpets a thing! They are so good, perfect for a weekend breakfast. I’ve made a vanilla baked crumpet recipe too, which you can check out if you don’t fancy a chocolate one. It is Easter though, so we’re going all in indulgence using chocolate and creme eggs!
When making this recipe you will need to use a suitable baking dish that fits the crumpets in nice and snug. I use a small 1lb loaf tin. Here’s the loaf tin’s I use, they are a mini size, perfect for baked crumpets! (Affiliate link)
A small individual size pie dish would work too!
Let me know if you give this one a try and what you think by commenting below or tagging me on Instagram, I’d love to hear your thoughts! Happy Easter!
