A healthy cookie dough recipe using mashed banana, peanut butter and protein powder.
We all crave sweet treats from time to time and this baked cookie dough will certainly satisfy your cravings!
One thing I’m really trying to combat is food waste. It is one of the leading causes of climate change and we all need to do our bit to reduce food waste. My main thing I do is plan my food and recipes that way it is rare for something to be in the house that doesn’t get used. That being said my bananas sometimes slip through the net and they sit in my fruit bowl after a week looking a little sad. Ripe bananas are a great addition in many baking recipes, they can be used as an egg and/or butter replacement. They are also rather suit, usually meaning the sugar can be reduced in the recipe!
This recipe uses;
- Banana
- Peanut butter
- Light brown sugar
- Protein powder
- Flour
- Chocolate chips
It’s ready in under 20 minutes and is a great sharing dessert! I baked mine in my small skillet which you can find linked in my Amazon shop.
